Borneo Tropical Rainforest Miri Sarawak 05Jan2008

Borneo Tropical Rain forest Resort is an agro and nature resort nestled in the nature of pristine and lush tropical rain forest of Lambir Hills neighboring to the renowned Lambir hill National park. The area spanning over 780 acres. Located at 36km Miri-Bintulu road, the resort is only 40 mins drive from Miri town.
Borneo Tropical Rain forest is the first destination for the trekker in year 2008. Team leaving home early in the morning @06:00hrs. meeting place at Brunei border custom. 1 Van and 2 4WD as our transportation. Entrance fee to the resort $65 Rm each (adult). Upon arrival breakfast was served at "One Tree Hill Cafe" before train tour to the resort which tour complete for 2hrs. After lunch, trekkers are prepared for the jungle trekking distance about 2.7 km. The trek is slippery, steep , hilly and you can encounter land leech. The new experience here where we lost one of our team members and he had to turn back to find his way back, he arrived 1hrs later, thankfully nothing bad happened to him.

Entrance payment cost $65RM per/head which include breakfast, lunch and tea break at "One Tree Hill Cafe" . The food wow... Delicious.
