Team leaving @09:00hrs from Kuala Lurah and reach Beauford @12:30hrs stop for lunch. After lunch, team drove straight to Sabah to find any hotels located nearby to Likas stadium where marathon starting point, but unfortunately no empty rooms available. So we decided to find rooms in town, and on the way back to KK town we drop by at Sabah Tourism Center for collecting our goodies used for marathon run on the 2nd May. In town we found room at Promenade apartment Api Api.
Saturday, 01st May we spend time morning jogging at Likas stadium, visit places and also shopping in 1Borneo shopping mall and newly open Suria shopping mall in KK town.
On the marathon day, 02nd May team wake up early @04:00hrs and @04:30hrs drive to Likas stadium via Istana road coz the main road already closed. 1of our team took 21.2 Km run and the rest (4 pax) took 10 Km run only. Team leaving Likas stadium after medal presentation upon arrival at the finishing line and around 10:30hrs back to apartment for taking rest and having lunch before back home.
Leaving Sabah @12:30hrs and we decided back home by using ferry at Menumbok Baufourt. Arrived Menumbok @14:30hrs and it's new route for us, so we have to ask people and luckily we met the ferry taukee so it make our live easier. Ferry leave Menumbor @15:30hrs where it pass by Labuan and Pulau Tikar before reach Serasa terminal. Spent 2hrs 30min on the ferry before arrived at Serasa port, Brunei.
